First of all let me start by saying Josh and Marissa are the one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with. Everytime Marissa would look at him she would blush and when Josh saw Marissa for the first time as she walked down the aisle you could see sparks fly. Their wedding day was just as magical.
Without a doubt Old Wide Awake is a beautiful venue: from the bridal suite to the plantation grounds. (I will be using the word beautiful a lot). Marissa was a calming presence and Josh couldn’t wait for the day to get started. Calm is rarely a word you would use to describe someone’s wedding day. It was such a breath of fresh air.
When it came time for their first touch it was so hard for Josh not to turn around to look at her. It didn’t help that we kept telling him how beautiful she was.
And then the ceremony…I don’t think there was a dry eye.
Let’s talk about their first dance to Dan & Shay’s “Speechless”. Everyone was speechless! (Pun intended). Marissa said they practiced and practiced for hours. Their wedding day was truly beautiful and perfect.
